How to Add A Link into Your Blog

 Links allow the addition of other websites into your site. 

Links are a fantastic way of directing audiences towards social media sites or external websites. Links that direct users towards your website aide in the ranking of your website compared to other sites when searched by the search engine. So, links are a powerful tool for the everyday blogger.
In a post or page observe the top toolbar.

Select the Link icon from the toolbar.

Once selected, you may paste a link.

In this example, I pasted a link to my blog's homepage.

Alongside posting the link, you may write text for the link to be displayed as. 

Additionally, you will be presented with two check boxes giving the option to open the link in a new window upon click and another ensuring the search engine bot ignores the link.

If you highlight a text before clicking the link button, the text to display will autofill with your highlighted text.
