How to add a Post to Your Blog

 What makes a page different from a post?

A page offers a place for consistent/permanent information such as an "about me" section or a "careers" page. They are helpful in differentiating your everyday post from important information.

First we want to select the "Pages" tab on the left-hand side bar, with the pages tab selected the "New Post" button will change to a "New Page" button.

Click the "New Page" button.

Upon creation you will be presented with a blank canvas.

Create your page and publish it.

Once published, select the "Layout" tab from the left-hand side bar.

Pages need to be updated into the layout of your blog page.

Select or add the "Page" gadget.

Click the "Edit" button to be greeted with a pop-up menu called the "Configure Page List".

You may choose to title the list if desired.

Click "Add A New Item".

Hover over the page name to see published pages.

Select the page you wish to add.

The page name and URL will autofill.

You may save and the page will be added to your blog.
