How to Set Up a Custom Blog Domain
With your blogsite created, what's next?
Custom domains help differentiate our site from the other sites that are out there are provides specifics to aid in search ranking. With a custom domain, we can let users know what type of site we are.
Scroll down to the "Publishing" row.
Select "Custom domain".
A prompt will pop-up asking for the custom domain URL, we want to click, "Buy a Domain".
Domains must be purchased either from Google or a third-party.
Here you can purchase from Google's list of domains. Once a domain is purchased, follow the on-screen instructions to connect the domain to your blog. If purchased from Google paste the domain's URL into the "Custom domain" prompt back in Blogger.
